Big Roomy Pitcher
I love this pitcher. It holds the daily recommended 8 cups of water so I don't have to go back and forth at work to get water. Just fill it up once in the morning and voila, have water all day. Hopefully this will make me drink more water because there are days I know I'm dehydrated. I also love the ice guard. No ice in my cup makes it easier to drink. Great purchase!
Good Pitcher
I use this for making soap. This is the vessel that holds the lye and water. Works great. Always add the lye to the water.
Rust on interior seam
I have been using this pitcher for several months to keep cold water available in the fridge. I am trying get away from buying plastic water bottles and did not want to risk my kids dropping a full glass pitcher on the tile floor. This looked like the perfect solution until the interior seam where the spout is welded to the body of the pitcher started to rust. I have no idea what the solder is made of, I hope it does not have lead in it. Looks great, but if your goal is healthier living, try a seamless stainless pitcher (just in case the seam weld is done with a toxic material).
