Thunder Group 7 Inch Aluminum Nonstick Fry Pan

PERFECT for Fritattas!!!
I bought this pan specifically to make frittatas in it. Since the pan goes under the broiler, it needs to have a heat-resistant handle. This pan is the perfect size, the handle is heat-resistant, and the teflon allows the frittata to just slip out when done. Couldn't ask for anything more.

Great for frittatas
Like some others, I got this because I needed a small, all-metal pan that I could put under the broiler for frittatas. I've used this 3 times so far, and have gotten perfect, non-stocking fritattas. The price was right, and it's doing exactly what I need it to do.

Great Value
I finally managed to burn up a similarly-priced, paper-thin Mirro non-stick aluminum pan after quite a few years of service. The durability of that pan was quite impressive. This Thunder Group pan is quite a jump up in initial quality; it's a much thicker pan, which cooks much better. The non-stick finish seems good so far: I burned some food in it, and it slid right right out with just a splash of water. None the worse for it. The handle does heat up, but getting a thicker pan is a good trade-off.
