Rachael Ray 9-1/2-Inch Cast-Iron Oval Fajita Pan, Blue



This pan EXPLODES!!!
I bought this RACHAEL RAY fajita pan and used it a few times then put it away because the items I was preparing stuck to the surface. Then recently I started using it again for a grilled cheese sandwich using slices of Italian boule bread as the bread size fit nicely inside the oval pan. While preparing only the second sandwich I suddenly heard a loud EXPLOSION which my wife could also hear from three rooms away. When I looked at the pan I realized chunks of the surface had literally blown up into the air and all over the counter and our Wolf range! When they say you can put some POP into cooking with Rachael Ray cookware I doubt this is what they intended! After contacting "Rachael Ray" about this via email and after a reply that basically said, "Thanks, but we can't respond to all emails," today I called their retail customer service on 800-571-6316 and was told I could TRY to send the pan back for a refund at my expense, or call the manufacturer, but that the Rachael Ray...

Perfect size for a small snack
I bought this pan to use primarily to make quick omelets. Like other porcelain cast iron pans, this holds heat well and seems to heat evenly. If it seems like something sticks, soaking for a few minutes after cooling is usually all that is needed to easily clean up. Unlike the Rachael Ray cast iron dutch ovens, this pan has no plastic parts, and is thus oven safe at higher temperatures. This is a good weight and is easy to use.
